Terms of Service
My ADAM CTO · Last updated: August 11, 2026
Welcome to My ADAM CTO ("ADAM," "we," "us"), a service of 180Breadcrumbs Inc., a Delaware corporation ("the Company"). By creating an account or using myadamcto.com (the "Service"), you agree to these terms.
1. What the Service is
ADAM connects to your company's code repositories, documents, and related business records and produces plain-English reports, scores, findings, and questions about engineering activity, ownership, and investor readiness.
ADAM informs; you decide. The Service provides information, evidence, and suggested questions. It does not provide legal, financial, investment, or professional advice, and it does not make decisions for you. You are solely responsible for decisions you make — including hiring, payments to developers or vendors, fundraising, and contractual matters — whether or not informed by the Service.
ADAM reads; it never changes your code. The Service accesses connected repositories in read-only fashion. Deep code reading is off by default and is enabled by you per repository with an explicit consent step; you may disable it at any time.
No guarantee of outcomes. ADAM improves visibility. It does not and cannot guarantee detection of every problem, error, fraud, or misrepresentation by third parties, and we are not responsible for the acts or omissions of your developers, vendors, or investors.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and authorized to bind the company you register.
3. Your content and permissions
You retain all rights to your code, documents, and data ("Customer Content"). You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service: to access, process, analyze, and display Customer Content to you and to those you explicitly share it with (for example, investor share links you create). You are responsible for having the right to connect the repositories and upload the documents you connect.
Findings, scores, and reports generated for you are yours to use. The Service's software, design, models of analysis, and branding remain ours.
4. AI processing
The Service uses third-party artificial-intelligence providers to analyze content and generate plain-English output. Content you connect (including, where you have enabled it, source code) may be processed by such providers as sub-processors under contractual confidentiality. AI output can be imperfect; treat findings as evidence and questions, not verdicts, and verify before acting.
5. Trials, subscriptions, and billing
New accounts include a 30-day free trial with full features and no payment method required. Paid subscriptions (monthly or annual) are billed through Stripe. Prices are shown at myadamcto.com/pricing and at checkout. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no partial-period refunds are given except where required by law.
Your data is never deleted for non-payment. If your subscription ends or lapses, your account becomes read-only: your data remains visible and exportable, and paid features are disabled until you resume a plan.
6. Referral program (Founding Members)
Founding Members receive a personal invitation link and, where issued, a digital wallet card carrying that link. If someone signs up through your link and makes their first real payment, you earn one free month of your plan, applied automatically as a credit to your Stripe customer balance and drawn down on your next invoice(s). No coupon codes, no redemption step.
Rules: the credit is the lesser of one month of your plan price and the amount of the invitee's first payment; self-referrals and referrals within the same company do not count; a maximum of twelve earned months per member per rolling year; credits have no cash value and are not transferable or refundable. Reaching ten conversions completes the punch card and adds two bonus months. We may withhold credits obtained through fraud, fake accounts, spam, or paid search on our brand terms, and may change or end the program prospectively — credits already earned are honoured.
7. Acceptable use
You may not: use the Service to violate law or third-party rights; attempt to access other customers' data; probe, disrupt, or overload the Service; resell it without our written agreement; or use it to build a competing product by systematic extraction.
8. Investor share links
Share links you create display a curated read-only snapshot to anyone holding the link, without login. You control creation and revocation of links and are responsible for whom you share them with.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable. Upon account closure, we will delete Customer Content within a reasonable period, except as retention is required by law.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses caused by third parties (including developers or vendors you engage).
11. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified via the Service or email, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
